Kahani Korner
Kahani Korner was born at 3 a.m. during sleepless baby night shifts, when a quiet realization hit me harder than the exhaustion. The only person I spoke Urdu with was my mom, and unless I started now, Urdu would end with me in my bloodline. At least my parents’ generation had a village. They had people around them who carried the language, even if it was passed down irregularly. My kids do not have that. Their village speaks English. Many have forgotten Urdu, and others are simply uncomfortable using it. I knew I needed to build villagers to supplement the Urdu I was trying to give my kids on my own. That is how Kahani Korner came to life. All the resources in one place. Books, games, music, cartoons, movies, and worksheets that make Urdu feel natural, cozy, and part of everyday family life, one little kahani at a time.
